Award Type

Find an award that suits the occasion, from cups and shields for competitions to plaques, glass awards and salvers for presentations. The collections above let you shop by award type; the products on this page bring several styles together.

Choosing the right award type

Start with who will receive the award and where it will be presented. A trophy cup can be a focal point for a winner, while a shield or plaque works well for a recurring award. Glass awards and paperweights suit many desk or display presentations. For group events, compare the size and total cost of the individual awards you need.

Materials, sizes and personalisation options vary by product. Check the details on the item you choose before ordering, especially if you need several matching awards or have a presentation date to meet.

Award type questions

Can I personalise an award?

Many awards offer engraving or printing, but the method and available space depend on the material and design. Check the options on the product page. If you need a logo or have detailed artwork, contact Trophy HQ before ordering.

What should I put on an award?

Include the recipient or team name, the reason for the award, and the year or season. Keep the wording short enough to read clearly on the chosen item, then check names and dates carefully before submitting your order.

Which award type suits a club or school presentation?

Use a larger cup, shield or plaque for the main prize and smaller awards for individuals where needed. Make a list of winners, runners-up and any special awards first so you can compare quantities and styles across the whole presentation.
