Chess Trophies

Chess trophies for school clubs, leagues and tournaments. Choose from chess-themed trophies and glass awards for champions, runners-up and individual achievements.

Planning your chess awards

Start with the format of your event. A one-day tournament may need prizes for first, second and third place, while a club season might also recognise improvement, commitment or a junior champion. List each section or age group and its recipients before choosing sizes and quantities.

A glass award can suit a headline prize, with smaller trophies for other places or club categories. Some designs offer several sizes, so you can keep a consistent look across awards. If each player will take home a prize, consider our chess medals alongside the main trophies.

Chess trophy questions

Which awards suit a school chess competition?

Plan prizes for the overall winner, runners-up and any separate year groups or sections. You can also recognise a player’s improvement or regular participation if those are part of the event’s criteria.

Can I choose matching trophies in different sizes?

Several trophy designs offer a choice of sizes. A larger size can mark the main prize and smaller versions can cover other places. Check the options and availability for your chosen design before ordering.

What should I put on a chess trophy engraving plate?

Include the event or club name, the award and the year. For example, “School Chess Championship — Junior Winner — 2026”. Add the recipient’s name if space allows and check spelling before placing your order.
