Sports Day Trophies

Sports day trophies for school presentations

Recognise pupils and teams at your next school sports day. Choose a sports day trophy for an overall winner, house result or standout performance, and plan individual awards for the different events and year groups.

Planning your sports day awards

Start with the events and prize categories on your programme. You might need awards for races, field events, team games, year-group places and an overall house result. Decide which achievements will receive a trophy and which pupils should receive an individual award.

For a house or team prize, check whether one shared trophy is enough or whether each pupil should take something home. Review the current trophy product page for its design, size and personalisation options before preparing your award wording.

Sports day trophy questions

What should I put on a sports day trophy?

Use the school name, event or achievement and year. For example, “School Sports Day — House Champions”. Add a pupil or house name if the chosen trophy has room. Check names and results carefully before submitting personalised text.

How many trophies should we order?

Make a list of every event and placing, then decide where a trophy will have the most impact. You may choose one main award for the overall result, with separate prizes for individual events. Count the recipients before ordering.

What can we give more pupils?

For event places or participation awards, browse our sports day medals. Decide whether medals will go to placed pupils, all participants or both, then estimate quantities by year group.

Ordering your sports day awards

Prepare quantities and any engraving wording together. Personalisation varies by product. If the event is close, contact Trophy HQ before ordering to discuss your required date.
