Chess medals for schools, clubs and tournaments
Recognise players at a school chess competition, club league or tournament with a chess-themed medal. A medal can suit a placing award or a wider group of participants. Check the product image and current options before choosing awards for your event.
Planning your chess presentation
List each age group, section or league division, then decide which placings will receive medals. A club presentation might also include an improvement award or recognition for regular participation. Count the recipients in every section and keep the wording for each award together.
Chess medal questions
Can medals and trophies be used at the same event?
Yes. You might choose a main trophy for the champion and medals for other placings or players in each section. Browse our chess trophies if you are planning both.
Can I personalise a chess medal?
Check the individual product page for engraving, ribbon and other available options. These can vary by design.
What wording should I use?
If personalisation is available, include the event, section, placing and year. For example: “Junior Chess Championship – Runner-Up”. Add a name if there is enough space and check spelling carefully.
