Runner Up Trophies

Choose runner-up trophies for finals, leagues and school competitions where second place deserves a clear award. A dedicated runner-up design can make the placing easy to recognise at your presentation.

Planning second-place awards

List the competitions and recipients before ordering. For an individual final, one runner-up trophy may be enough. For doubles or team events, decide whether each player will receive an award or whether one trophy will represent the pair or team.

Check the current product page for size, price and personalisation choices. If you are awarding several divisions, confirm the quantity and wording for each one so the trophies match the right results.

Runner-up trophy questions

Is runner-up the same as second place?

In a final, the runner-up is the person or team finishing second. For leagues with several placings, use the award title that matches your competition rules and presentation wording.

What should I engrave on a runner-up trophy?

Include the event, placing and year, such as “Club Championship — Runner-up — 2026”. Add a player or team name if the selected trophy has enough engraving space. Check spelling and the product’s engraving options before ordering.

Can I choose awards for first and third place too?

If you need a coordinated set for several placings, browse our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies and compare the current designs and sizes.
