Engraving Plates

Engraving plates for trophies and awards

Choose a separate engraving plate when you need to add a name, award title or date to a trophy or presentation piece. This category has gold and silver finish options in a range of sizes. Check the plate dimensions on the product page before ordering.

Measure the available space

Measure the flat area where the plate will sit, allowing clearance around any edges or curves. Compare both the width and height with the size options; a plate that is only slightly too large may not sit neatly on the award. Check the chosen listing for attachment details if you are fitting it yourself.

Engraving plate questions

What wording should I use?

Keep it concise: the recipient, award and year are usually enough. For a team award, add the club or competition name if space allows. Enter names and dates exactly as they should appear and proofread them before ordering.

Are the gold and silver plates made from precious metals?

The colour describes the finish. Read the individual product specification for the actual material and do not assume a gold or silver finish means solid precious metal.

Can I replace a plate on an existing trophy?

Check the old plate’s measurements and how it is attached before selecting a replacement. If the surface is curved or you are unsure about fit, contact Trophy HQ with the award’s details.
